Here's what our customers say
about our collaboration

“Nico really helped me during a very challenging point in my career. Together we found a way to overcome certain things, that were in the way of reaching my goals and full potential and shift focus to a different goals, that actually help me to be a better version of myself every single day. And I’m grateful for Nico’s continuous support, and full commitment to our cooperation!”

Maria Timofeeva
WTA Player - Career High WTA #79

'Almost a year ago, I started working with Nico, and he has become an indispensable part of my (professional) life. Right at the beginning of our collaboration, we reflected on my values, goals, and priorities in life - a task that used to be difficult for me. But with Nico's support, all of this suddenly became so tangible and clear that today I know exactly why I do what I do, what I am working towards. This feeling of clarity and focus is new to me - and an incredible improvement in my life. And while we mainly focus on my professional development, the clarity also extends to my personal life. It is this holistic approach - which not only considers professional challenges but also keeps an eye on personal life and health - that makes Nico's coaching so special to me. I am not an athlete at all, but I always find the parallels Nico draws to sports to be inspiring. Thank you, Nico, for your great support - I am looking forward to continuing to work with you for a long time!'

Performance consistency can be developed

Technical skills, talent, and preparation form the foundation. What matters most is being able to draw on your skills with clarity, focus, and confidence exactly when it counts—in a board meeting, a competition, on stage, or in demanding leadership situations.

Complex Coaching addresses the often-hidden dynamics behind peak performance. We work with you to develop precise strategies for focus, communication, energy, and self-regulation—so that performance isn’t left to chance but is consistently delivered, even under pressure.

  1. In Performance Training, performance tools are taught and experiences with them are gathered during the performance (e.g. on-court/training-on-the-job). Often, the focus is on improving performance consistency through more constructive rituals in thinking, acting, and feeling.
  2. Performance Coachings take place in the form of conversations or alternative learning opportunities (e.g. movies, interviews, transfers to other sports). Depending on preference, both personal meetings (indoor or outdoor) and online meetings via Zoom are possible.
  1. Concentration, flow experience, visualization, energy & stress management, rituals, constructive thinking, breathing, body language, attention control, dealing with pressure situations, dealing with defeats/setbacks, dealing with emotions, communication, self-management, ...
  1. Inner clarity, inner team, values, orientation & goals, beliefs, resolving inner conflicts/tensions, healthy/consistent performance, constructive communication, etc.
  1. Performance Training From about 11-12 years old; not recommended before from our experience
  2. Performance Coaching from puberty (~14-15 years), as we need a certain level of abstraction and reflection ability here
  1. Flexibly designed, usually 1.5-2 hours (possibly a bit longer, e.g. for outdoor coaching)
  1. 2.5 hours consisting of 1.5-2 hours on-court training plus pre/post discussion (flexibly scheduled before or after the on-court training)
  1. Flexible design, usually every 2-4 weeks
  2. Intensive blocks and short-term requests are possible if needed
  1. Ideal: 1 training block every 6-8 weeks (2-3 training sessions, see above)
  2. Intensive blocks with 10-15 training sessions within 1-2 weeks are also possible upon request (e.g. during the season preparation)
  1. Online or in person; location can be chosen flexibly
  1. All coaching and training sessions are personally conducted by me
  2. For ball-hitting sports (e.g. tennis), we require an additional hitting partner.
  3. Ideally, this should be an athlete with similar skill level, who can be more or less involved in the training according to the client's wishes.
  4. Tennis coaches and parents are advised, based on our experience, not to be on-court especially at the beginning of our collaboration, so that the focus remains clearly on the performance topic (as opposed to technical corrections, for example) and the trust relationship with the coach can develop better.
